Your rental agent meets you in the TIV arrivals hall with a name board. The car is parked in the airport car park directly outside the terminal. Walk from the gate to your vehicle in under five minutes.
A valid driving licence, passport or national ID, and a physical credit card in the main driver's name. If your licence uses non-Latin script, carry an International Driving Permit alongside it.
Cross-border permission is split into three tiers. Tier one covers the neighbouring countries excluding Albania and Kosovo, suitable for a Dubrovnik day or a Trebinje detour. Most vehicles require a hold of 100 to 350 euros on a physical credit card. Some economy cars require no deposit at all and are clearly marked in the search results. The hold is released when the car is returned in good condition.
